Karen Pittman to Present at the 6th Annual Black Policy Conference

This Saturday, Karen Pittman will be present at the 6th Annual Black Policy Conference, a leading policy-driven forum addressing issues that affect communities within Africa and the African Diaspora at large. Karen will be taking part in a panel discussion, "Supporting Disconnected Youth in the Transition to Adulthood" that will explore the roles that governmental and non-governmental entities can play in shaping post-high school opportunities with a focus on students unprepared or uninterested in college and those who are prepared but need additional supports.

Registration for this year's conference, “A Call to Action: Empowering the Individual and Mobilizing the Collective” held at the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University, is still open and you may find out about other sessions and speakers at: http://blackpolicyconference.com/
